Retreat Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Inner Harmonies! We are as excited as you to have you join us on this journey of relaxation and self-discovery. Before finalizing your booking, please take a moment to read through our Terms and Conditions. By booking a retreat with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in their entirety. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the website and Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

Our retreats are open to individuals aged 18 and above. By booking, you confirm that you meet the age and eligibility requirements.

3. Payments and Pricing

  • Upon booking, a deposit is required to secure your spot.

  • We accept payments via Bank Transfer and PayPal.

  • The remaining balance must be settled upon arrival via Bank Transfer, Cash, or PayPal (no terminal payment by card available).

  • If you require an installment plan, we are happy to discuss alternative payment options—just reach out, and we’ll find a solution that works for you.

  • Prices are subject to change, but any confirmed bookings will remain at the agreed rate.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that sometimes plans change, and we want to be as accommodating as possible while also maintaining fairness. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to another person, use them for another retreat date, or apply them to our other services. A €50 administrative fee applies to any changes.

  • If we are able to fill your spot from our waiting list, we will provide a full refund minus a €50 administrative fee.

  • If your space cannot be filled, no refunds will be issued for payments made.

  • No refunds will be given for no-shows.

  • While our cancellation policy provides some flexibility, having travel insurance can offer further financial protection in the event that your plans change unexpectedly.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and information provided during the retreat belong to Inner Harmonies. Reproducing, sharing, or distributing any of our materials without explicit permission is strictly prohibited. 

We may take photos or videos during the retreat for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to be included in photos or videos, please inform us in advance, and we will respect your privacy.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Participating in retreat activities involves inherent risks. By attending, you confirm that you are physically fit and assume responsibility for your well-being.

  • We strongly recommend obtaining travel and health insurance to cover unexpected circumstances.

  • Inner Harmonies, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained before, during, or after participation.

  • However, support and guidance from experienced professionals will be available throughout the retreat.

  • In case of an emergency, all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of participants.

  • Force Majeure: We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances, or other events beyond our control. 

7. Privacy Policy

Inner Harmonies values your privacy and complies with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.

  • We collect personal information only for retreat organization and communication purposes.

  • The information provided during therapy sessions at the retreat will be kept private and confidential. 

  • Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law

Information We Collect and How It Is Used

We may collect information such as your name, contact details, and dietary preferences to ensure your experience is smooth and tailored to your needs. Health-related details are collected only if voluntarily provided to enhance your safety during the retreat.

8. Changes to Venue / Collaborators / Program

To maintain the highest quality experience, Inner Harmonies may make adjustments to the retreat location, instructors, or collaborators if necessary. 

If for any reason a course teacher, venue, or activity becomes unavailable, we will do our best to find a replacement of similar quality. Wherever possible, you will be advised in advance of any alterations. Amenities or courses may be altered or amended due to maintenance work, mechanical faults, weather conditions, sickness, or other situations outside our control, for which Inner Harmonies cannot be held responsible.

9. Insurance

For additional peace of mind, we strongly advise that all participants secure travel insurance. If you opt for one, we suggest that your travel insurance covers the activities of this retreat, as well as unexpected cancellations, sickness, losses, and all the usual risks. We cannot waive our cancellation policy or be liable for loss of your retreat in the event that you are unable to attend.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Portugal.
