Rooted in Balance Retreat
Are you longing for a real change?
Join us on our 7-day holistic somatic Therapy & Yoga Retreat!
Portugal, October 12 - 18, 2025
Imagine waking up in a sunlit room by the ocean, breathing in the salty Portuguese air, looking around and exhaling calmly. A sense of content washes over you because you’re happy you finally did it - you put yourself first and gifted yourself with time and space to explore and activate your body, calm the mind and implement lasting changes to your daily life.
Your hosts - Eva, Niki and Bianca - are really happy to be there to accompany you on this journey and share in your personal development in a beautiful villa in peaceful green surroundings with ocean views and a natural pool in São Bernardino, a small village nestled on the beautiful West Coast.
You’ve been trying to implement self-care routines in your daily life, but you always end up feeling like it doesn’t work and you’re letting yourself down.
You’re going through big life changes and you’re struggling to make decisions and follow a direction.
You just don’t know how to manage your anxiety and stress levels anymore.
You are interested in trying yoga or already have experience with yoga but think there’s so much more to it than doing poses on a mat.
Your mind is always racing and going through to-do lists and you’re feeling overwhelmed and in need of a deep rest.
You say “yes” out of habit of people pleasing, not from your heart.
You feel like life is passing you by and all you do is survive.
You often feel guilt, shame, fear, anger and sadness and have no idea where they’re coming from or how to deal with these feelings.
You’re curious about exploring the connection between your mind and body through somatic exercises and want to learn more about it.
You want to visit the coast of Portugal and stay in a serene place surrounded by nature.
Who is this retreat for?
Imagine your day at our therapy and yoga retreat in Portugal
Wake up, see the sunrise
You wake up in a beautiful room by the ocean to soft morning light and the scent of salty air. Stepping outside, you sit on the grass to join the group and watch the sun rise behind the hills. You share a quiet moment with others, knowing the day ahead holds opportunities for growth and connection. You feel your body is ready to implement the mindfulness techniques and join Bianca on the mat. Your mind is awaiting the peaceful meditation that will set the tone for the day.
Morning workshops
After a delicious breakfast that nourishes your body, you take part in a somatic group therapy workshop with Niki and Eva. You start with psychoeducation on the day’s topic and then you’re invited to participate in a new exercise and create a ‘line of life’ with stones and flower petals, reflecting on key moments in your life, feeling the impact they had on your story, your beliefs and your values. You feel supported by the facilitators and group, exploring your emotions, learning techniques to manage stress, relieve anxiety and prevent burnout, discovering new insights with each step. Every day, you yield more and more into the deep somatic explorations and learn to really notice your mind, observe your body, feel it and create a deep and lasting relationship between the two of them.
Mindful walk on the cliffs
After a tasty lunch enjoyed with the group and the reflection time in which you get to relax and unwind, you embark on a guided mindful walk along the cliffs by the ocean. The facilitators encourage you to awaken your senses—feeling the breeze, hearing the waves, and smelling the wildflowers. By the end, you feel grounded, accomplished, and deeply connected to yourself and the group.
After an incredible dinner, you sit down in a closing circle, look into the eyes and souls that surround you and feel truly at peace. You dedicated time to yourself and your mental health and along the way you met amazing souls that shape your experience. You are sleepy, but excited about the promise of tomorrow. You know you will leave this place feeling much more grounded, ready to tackle everyday life and truly Rooted in Balance.

Your journey continues…
This isn’t just about a one-time escape. It’s about creating meaningful, lasting change - one that fits into your real, everyday life. And to make sure your journey truly continues, we offer an integration call after the retreat, along with the option to continue working with our facilitators at a discounted rate for extra support.
The key topics we’ll explore during the therapy and yoga retreat through our holistic approach will bring practical tools and insights that will support you long after you return home, helping you integrate lasting change into your daily life.
-
Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Learn how to create simple, sustainable habits - whether it’s mindful mornings, movement, moments of rest or journalling before bedtime - that fit into your daily life and help you feel balanced, energized, and grounded. We will also talk about how to integrate them in daily life and your space.
-
Feeling overwhelmed is part of life, but it doesn’t have to control you. We will work on practical tools to calm your mind, regulate your nervous system, and navigate daily stress with more ease and resilience. From breathwork and learning to listen to your body to breaking negative thought patterns, we have designed our retreat programme to help you improve your life quality.
-
Your body holds wisdom - tension, fatigue, or gut feelings are all signs worth listening to. We will work on our abilities to do just that while you reconnect with yourself, your body’s signals and find balance from the inside out.
-
The way you speak to yourself shapes how you feel. Shift from self-criticism to self-kindness, so you can support yourself through life’s challenges instead of tearing yourself down.
-
Saying "no" can be hard, but it’s also self-care. Learn to set clear, guilt-free boundaries that protect your energy, keep your safe space from being invaded, strengthen relationships, and help you prioritize what truly matters.
Meet the Hosts
We come from different backgrounds, each with our own story, yet we all made the choice to leave our old lives behind in search of something more. That journey led us to Portugal, where we not only found a home but also rediscovered parts of ourselves we didn’t even know were missing. We have walked this path—through change, uncertainty, and growth—and now, we’re here to share our experience with you. With open hearts and a deep understanding of transformation, we want to support and guide you as you step into your own journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
Your Private Sanctuary by the Ocean
You will be staying in a beautiful villa, tucked away in lush green surroundings, offering complete privacy and tranquility. Just a short walk from the beach, this peaceful retreat center invites you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
You will find time to relax by the natural pool, unwind on the wooden deck, and enjoy nourishing homemade meals on the sunlit terrace. Inside, the villa is thoughtfully decorated with unique pieces from India, adding a warm and soulful touch. With cozy communal spaces and a dedicated somatic practice area, this home is designed to help you rest, recharge, and fully immerse yourself in the retreat experience.

What makes this retreat different?
-
We believe a retreat should be more than just an escape; it should give you real, sustainable practices for everyday life. Throughout the week, you’ll learn how to establish a self care routine, learn techniques to manage stress and relieve anxiety, and reconnect with yourself through simple yet powerful exercises. You'll practice journaling for self-reflection, learn breathwork to calm your nervous system, discover movement practices to release tension, and explore ways to set healthy boundaries. Every tool we teach is designed to be easy to integrate into your daily routine, so you leave not just refreshed, but truly empowered.
-
With three highly trained facilitators you’ll receive more guidance, care, and personal attention than most retreats can offer. Our team consists of a certified yoga instructor and mental coach, alongside two medical doctors trained in biointegrative psychotherapy and somatics. This combination ensures a holistic approach—addressing your physical and mental health and emotional well-being. Whether you need grounding movement, psychological insight, or a safe space to process emotions, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
-
Real transformation doesn’t happen in just one week - our retreat can be an amazing start to something that unfolds over time. That’s why we offer continued support after you leave. We will be preparing for daily life on the retreat itself, but a follow-up integration call will help you reflect on your experience and apply what you’ve learned to the full extent. For our retreat participants wanting deeper guidance, our facilitators provide an exclusive discounted rate for six months of online therapy. This means you don’t just return home inspired—you return with professional support to make lasting changes.

Our retreat takes place in a beautifully renovated retreat center by the ocean, designed to provide both comfort and inspiration. Located in the tranquil village of São Bernardino on the stunning Portuguese Silver Coast—just one hour north of Lisbon and only a 15-minute walk from the beach—the space offers the perfect balance of serenity and accessibility.
The retreat center features a spacious common area that also serves as our yoga shala, a fully equipped kitchen and dining space with a large communal table, and a dedicated room for yoga, art, and other activities. Guests will stay in one of six thoughtfully furnished rooms—four double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and two 2-or 3-person shared rooms with a shared bathroom—offering a cozy and peaceful environment for rest and relaxation.
Surrounded by nature, the retreat center boasts beautiful outdoor spaces, including a lush garden, a natural pool, a deck for relaxation, and outdoor seating areas where guests can unwind and connect. The villa offers views of the ocean, creating a serene and calming atmosphere that enhances your connection to nature.
Adding to the unique atmosphere of the retreat, the villa’s owner spent years in India and has brought back carefully selected art and spiritual pieces that now add warmth and character to the space. These elements contribute to a sense of serenity and cultural richness, creating a welcoming environment for reflection and connection.
-

If you have any allergies or food intolerances, please let us know in advance, and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.

-
While there is some free time in the schedule, we highly encourage you to stay present and immerse yourself in the retreat experience. This week is designed for deep self-exploration, relaxation, and personal growth, and spending time at the retreat center will allow you to fully benefit from the program.
That said, if you feel the need for a short outing, there may be opportunities to visit nearby nature spots and the small village we are located in. However, we do not recommend planning longer trips (e.g., to Lisbon) during the retreat, as it may take away from your experience.
If you’d like to explore more of Portugal, we highly suggest arriving a few days earlier or staying longer after the retreat to fully enjoy Lisbon, the coast, and the surrounding areas.
-
We ask all participants to attend the group sessions, as the retreat is designed to create a safe and supportive space where everyone’s presence contributes to the group dynamic. That being said, we understand that personal needs may arise, and we are here to support you. If at any point you feel the need to step back, we encourage open communication so we can ensure you still feel safe and included in the process.
